Crab Cake Dinner

It is Rob’s birthday today, so Rob, Matt, Seth, Matt (Seth’s older brother), and I went to eat at Joe’s Crab Shack in Rancho Cucamonga last night. Unfortunately, the restaurant’s natural lighting was horrible, so I had to push my flash on the picture. (Yeck, harsh lighting, I know. *sigh*) The dinner I’ve gotten is called a Crab Cake Dinner. It was pretty good. The crab cakes were full of crab, which is always a great plus, and the special sauce that they had for the meal was very flavorful. It definitely flavored the entire crab cake. I didn’t add that much, though, since I think it had a lot of flavor already. Isn’t the plate cute, though? It’s all crabby, and I love the colors on them.

Cherry Garcia Ice Cream

I went to the supermarket today with my mom to buy some food, and they had these little cups of Ben and Jerry’s and Häagen-Dazs ice cream for $1 each. They were so adorable looking. I went and tried to find a flavor that I really wanted to try out, so I found this Cherry Garcia flavor from Ben and Jerry’s. I just ate this earlier, and it was so good! It wasn’t that sweet either. I was scared that the chocolate would overwhelm the cherry, but it complemented each other instead. I would definitely buy this flavor again!

Hi. This is my first entry on WordPress. I was thinking of abandoning my original photo-log on LiveJournal and transfer here, but I changed my mind and decided to post on both blogs instead. I hope this sudden change isn’t confusing, and I hope that my photography will be shown more due to the fact I have two photo-logs.

Well, my plan today was ruined because I had forgotten to bring my dad’s card reader for his digital camera back home. I was thinking of taking pictures of flowers around the home garden. However, that changed because I found out I can’t even upload pictures from my dad’s digital camera! Oh well. I ended up taking pictures of these flowers, which are called birds of paradise. They grow very well here in southern California, and they are pretty big! I like the fact they actually do look like birds.
